The illustrations that we offer have a fairly high level of detail and volume. They are self-sufficient and difficult to combine with multicolored three-dimensional backgrounds, so that the design continues to look good. That’s why I like to use simple monochrome or flat backgrounds or combine them with flat elements. This postcard was just made that way. All you need is to assemble an illustration of a child and add some additional elements, such as: ribbon, stars, hearts, flowers. Try to make your own postcard in a similar style, I assure you you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it will be for you to combine flat elements with an illustration. Do not forget that the colors for your background and elements should be in harmony with the illustration and complement it.

I made it in lilac tones, and in the style of watercolor on the background. This is a very easy to create postcard. Just assemble a girl and a boy, add some watercolor streaks to the background. Corners can be decorated with flowers for those who prefer shabby chic style. Nothing complicated, just try it!

I recently published a set of “Just Married” with the bride and groom sitting in the car and going on a honeymoon. At first glance, it may seem that this set can only be used as shown in the preview, but this is not the case. And today I want to show you how great it is to combine a bride and a girl from the Ring Bearer and Flower Girl set to create an interesting postcard with an offer to become a flower girl.

This illustration is very easy to make, you just need to assemble the bride and the girl. Then just place the girl below the layers with the bride and erase the excess ones. I added flowers that are intended for the car on top of the illustration and they look very gentle. Experiment and share your amazing works with us!

Look how easily you can combine some sets with each other and get completely unexpected combinations. The woman was assembled from the “BUSINESS WOMAN CLIPART” set. To give her a more Christmas look, I simply used red pants. Then I added the man and the baby from the new collection, and an unusual DIY card was created. Give it a try!

To create this card, I used a new family Christmas clipart set. I created two women and mirrored one of them. If you are using Adobe Photoshop, place the layers for the first woman in a group. Then simply duplicate the group and place it over the second woman. Turn on the mask for the layers and erase everything except for the overlapping hand. I will write more detailed instructions on how to do this in my blog and record a video for you.
